I fell in love with the look of these beautiful coffee filter butterflies on Kaboose.com and knew as soon as I saw them the kids would love them too.
This was a super easy craft and used things we always have in the house which is great (because once my kids love a craft they ask to do it over and over and over again). Another variation that we tried was to use water with food coloring in it. The result wasn’t as vibrant but it was still pretty. |
To finish them off we pinched the coffee filter in the middle of a wooden clothes peg which we painted black and decorated with googly eyes. We then put a small round magnet on the back so we can enjoy our creations all summer long.
So simple!
